Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the NotionHighlighter Chrome extension ("the Extension") and visiting our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

NotionHighlighter is a Chrome extension that allows you to highlight text on web pages and sync those highlights to your Notion workspace. The Extension offers both free and paid (Pro) features.

3. Free vs Pro Features

• Free: Text highlighting, Notion sync, sidebar management, multiple highlight colors.
• Pro: All free features plus screenshot capture and auto-save to Notion. Pro requires a one-time purchase of a license key.

4. Pro License

• The Pro license is a one-time purchase for lifetime access to Pro features for the current major version of the Extension.
• The license key is personal and non-transferable.
• You may use the license on multiple devices under the same Chrome profile.
• License keys are verified against our server periodically. An internet connection is required for Pro feature access.

5. Payment Terms

• All prices are in US Dollars (USD).
• Payment is processed securely by Creem.io. We do not store payment details.
• The Pro price is $0.99 USD one-time, unless otherwise stated.
• All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of the license, refunds are granted at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.

6. User Responsibilities

• You must comply with the terms of service of any third-party services you connect (e.g., Notion, Google).
• You are responsible for the content you highlight and sync to Notion.
• You must not use the Extension for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.

7. Intellectual Property

The Extension, its code, design, and branding are owned by the developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extension for personal use.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Extension, including but not limited to data loss or service interruption.

9. Third-Party Services

The Extension integrates with Notion via their API. Your use of Notion is subject to Notion's Terms of Service. Payment processing is handled by Creem.io, subject to Creem's Terms of Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Extension or Pro license for violation of these terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
